Slowcooked Southwest Black Beans

Southwest Black Beans
This recipe is too easy not to share. There are only two ingredients. One 15oz can of black bean and one 16oz jar of salsa. That’s it…nothing else…OK maybe 1/3 cup of water. The instructions are even easier. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker until tender. About 2 -3 hours depending on the temperature of your slow cooker. I prefer to buy black beans with no added ingredients or seasonings (can you can find at the natural food stores or the natural food section of your local market). My favorite salsa to use is Pace Picante Chunky Salsa – Hot. Of course you are welcome to use your favorite brand of salsa.
Tell me this was not super easy to make….I dare you.
