I love, love, love summer fruit. I can eat it all day, every day. Most summer days, you’ll find my fridge stocked full of fresh fruit. This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy the bountiful harvest of summer. There are no measurements—you’ll need to go with your gut and eyeball it. Add more or less of your favorite fruits. Below is my basic recipe. Besides making a salad, what are some ways you like to eat raw fruit?

Ingredients

  • Onion
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Carrots
  • Grapes
  • Lettuce Mix
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Poppy Seed Salad Dressing

Instructions

  • Clean and chop the lettuce mix, then chop all fruits and veggies into bite-size pieces. Add everything to a large bowl in the amounts you prefer. Toss well before serving. I like a sweet dressing with this, but it’s completely optional.

Notes

This is a flexible, no-measure recipe. Use the fruits and veggies you love, in the amounts that make sense for you.
